What do stories mean to you?
Are they the words of someone you knew, passed down and turned into your script or speech? Are they tales of mundane, miraculous or miserable journeys you went on? Perhaps they are just an
image you can describe, details to the finest grains or a little memory of it. Perhaps you are living in a story, and you believe your life is magnificent as paradise or dreary as the bottom
of a squalid well.
What I have here is an anthology of stories about Aupala and its dwellers, its objects, its places, its history – these stories shed light onto another existence. From the peoples who
use the Aa·kiuru languages with their world, I present to you, kind reader, an insight into Aupala's Stories.
